Potential increase in suicidal risk during

antidepressant treatment

• Inner tension, agitation, restlessness,

anxiety, insomnia may worsen, especially

early,with antidepressant treatment (painful

excitement).

• Antidepressants can induce agitated-

dysphoric mixed-states with impulsivity and

aggression (behavioral disinhibition).
